Prostate cancer is the third most common cause of death from cancer in men of all ages and is the most common cause of death from cancer in men over 75 years old. Men younger than 40 rarely have prostate cancer. Men at higher risk include African-America men older than 60, farmers, tire plant workers, painters, and men exposed to cadmium. The lowest number of cases occurs in Japanese men and vegetarians.

I used to bring commumion to shut-ins. One of them was a man with prostate cancer. He was emphatic that I should get regular prostate exams; he never would, just put it off and then it was too late. I got the impression that his wife was aggravated about that, because she was left alone, and it might've been easily managed.

Yep. Most of us men will die with prostate cancer, but not from it. Very prevalent but, if caught early, curable. An ounce of prevention, etc.
