Voting 57-35, on Sunday the Senate approved their Conference Report to H.R. 3288, which ensures that federal dollars will be used for abortions in our Nation’s capitol. This was part of President Obama’s pledge to overturn the Dornan amendment, which had previously prohibited abortions in D.C.
