Very early this morning, the House Rules Committee allowed a vote on the “Stupak amendment,” sponsored by pro-life Michigan Democrat, Congressman Bart Stupak, that will apply the Hyde amendment’s prohibitions against any federal funds being used for abortions to House health care legislation.
