Politico reports that the 1,502-page Chairman’s Mark, the Finance Committee reviewed and approved version of the “America’s Health Future Act of 2009,” has been filed. Next up will be the consolidation of the Finance Committee’s bill with the one proposed by the Senate’s Health Committee into one bill to be considered by the full Senate. [...]

The latest Rasmussen poll of likely voters (contrasted to many MSM polls of US adults) shows 54% oppose, while 42% support current health care proposals. Seniors are against, 59% to 36%. 55% oppose the “Baucus bill’s” annual $750 penalty for not having health insurance.
