Ominously entitled “The More People Think They Know about Obama’s Health Care Reform Proposals The More They Oppose Them,” a Harris poll conducted July 20-22, 2009 is showing a doubling (from 17 to 36 percent) of Americans polled saying they knew something about President Obama’s reform proposals, while 72 percent were confident they knew “some” or “a lot.”
Asked whether the proposed reforms would be good for the quality of medical care in America, those responding “good” fell from 47 to 35 percent, while those responding”bad” rose from 20 to 36 percent (January/July poll comparisons).
Clearly, for Team Obama the numbers are headed in the wrong direction.
